Treatments Methods

DHI Hair transplant

Hair loss is a common issue that affects a large percentage of men and women. It is estimated that around 85% of men experience some degree of hair thinning by the age of 50. Hair transplants are a popular and effective solution for this issue. Recently, the DHI hair transplant method has gained popularity. This page provides information about the experience with DHI, including any potential risks.

DHI is considered the most advanced hair transplant method, known for its natural-looking results and minimal pain. This method involves the direct extraction and use of hair follicles, making it the least invasive hair transplant technique and capable of significantly increasing hair volume without the need for more invasive surgical methods. DHI is based on the principles of transplantation techniques using the Choi pen, the latest surgical innovation for the removal and direct reinsertion of donor follicles. This means that there is no need to remove skin strips or temporarily store the follicles in a nutrient solution. DHI is typically performed by a dermatologist and at least three hair transplant technicians.

Fut Hair Transplant

The FUT method, also known as the strip method, is a widely used technique for hair transplantation by clinics and surgeons around the world. It involves taking hair roots from the donor area at the back of the head through a strip of skin and planting them to restore hair growth. The hair roots are transplanted into bald areas on the scalp to promote new growth. The FUT method involves removing a strip of skin from the donor area and separating the hair follicles from the surrounding tissue. The follicles are then transplanted into the recipient area. The goal of the FUT method is to create a natural-looking head of hair.

The FUT (follicular unit transplantation) procedure, also known as the “strip method,” is responsible for about 90% of hair transplants performed globally. To perform this procedure, a strip of hair-covered scalp (commonly from the back of the head) is removed and used as the foundation for the transplant. Before the transplanted hair is inserted into the recipient area, it is prepared and stored in a cool environment to prevent the hair roots from dying. The strip of removed scalp is then divided into smaller sections to fit the recipient area and filled with the appropriate-sized hair follicles.

FUE Hair Transplant

The FUE method is a minimally invasive technique for hair transplantation used by clinics and surgeons around the world. It involves taking hair roots from the donor area, typically the back of the head but other parts of the body may also be used, and transplanting them into bald or thinning areas to restore natural hair growth. The FUE method involves extracting individual follicular units, or small groups of hair, from the donor area and transplanting them to the recipient area. It is a relatively simple and straightforward procedure that allows for the restoration of natural-looking hair growth.

(Follicular Unit Extraction) hair transplant surgery is a minimally invasive procedure that leaves little to no scarring. Before the actual extraction process begins, the patient’s hair is shaved so that the surgeon can easily identify the individual groups of hair. In some cases, it is possible to undergo a hair transplant without shaving or partially shaving the head. In these instances, natural groups of hair are removed from the donor area using a very fine needle.

PRP

PRP stands for Platelet Rich Plasma, which translates to “trombosit yönünden zenginleştirilmiş kan plazması” in Turkish. This method is frequently used in the fields of aesthetic dermatology, cosmetology, orthopedics, and dental surgery for the purpose of tissue rejuvenation. PRP is a liquid enriched with platelets that is obtained by separating platelets from human blood through a process called centrifugation. PRP treatment involves administering this serum to a person using various methods. The person’s blood is processed in a special tube using centrifugation to obtain platelet-rich plasma, which is then injected into the desired area under the skin. This process can be made more effective by combining it with thrombin serum or hyaluronic acid. PRP can be applied through various methods such as local injection, mesotherapy, dermatherapy, and mask form.

Beard Transplantation

Be it genetic or hormonal, modern beard transplants can cover large areas densely using gentle procedures similar to traditional hair transplants. Individual hairs are taken from various parts of the body and transplanted to the desired location. For example, even small gaps caused by scarring can be filled using this beard transplantation method.

DHI (Direct Hair Implantation)

The DHI (Direct Hair Implantation) method involves removing the patient’s own hairs, often from the back of the head, one by one and immediately transplanting them to the desired areas as donor hairs. This technique does not involve any cuts or scars and has a high success rate in terms of the survival of the transplanted hair roots.

FUT Method – Follicular Unit Extraction

The FUT (follicular unit extraction) method involves carefully removing individual hair follicles from the donor area and temporarily storing them before transplanting them to the desired area. This precise technique does not leave any scars, making it a popular choice for those who prefer short hairstyles. One benefit of FUE is that it allows for a quick healing and growth period for the transplanted hair.

FUT Method – Follicular Unit Transplantation

The FUT (follicular unit transplantation) method involves removing narrow strips of hair containing several follicular units from the back of the head, which are then divided and transplanted to the desired areas. This technique produces a very natural result, particularly in larger bald areas. After the procedure, the scar created between the ears is usually covered by the regenerated hair. However, the FUT method is not commonly used for beard hair transplants.

Eyebrow Transplantation

Eyebrows play a major role in shaping the appearance of a person’s face. Their form, shape, and thickness all contribute to a person’s overall look. There are various factors that can impact the appearance of eyebrows, including medical conditions, genetics, injuries, and even fashion choices like overplucking. Some people may choose to undergo an eyebrow transplant to restore fullness and achieve their desired shape and form in the event of partial eyebrow loss due to any of these reasons. This procedure can provide a permanent solution to the problem.
